    FAQ

1.Q: Why are my threads getting tangled? How can I solve it?

A: Thread knotting is not caused by disorderly or imperfect winding. When making filament, the filament is wound back and forth (left to right and then right to left). Usually there is no knotting of the thread. A common cause of tangles is that the filament end is not fixed in the holes of the spool. The knotting by overlapping or the changed winding direction leads to a knotting of the filament. Therefore, customers need to attach the thread end to the correct holes of the bobbin.

    1. Q: Is PETG biodegradable?

A: The natural degradation process of PETG raw materials is very long, and PETG is a non-degradable material. PETG is a thermoplastic material that can be used for secondary plastic recycling. PETG is also an environmentally friendly material.

3.Q: The nozzle is clogged by PETG, how can I solve the problem?

A: An inconstant filament diameter, a nozzle temperature that is too low and frequent replacement with other filaments lead to this problem. So clean the nozzle before you start and adjust the temperature to a reasonable level.

4.Q: My prints have problems with web-like threads (stringing). How can I fix the problem?

A: If the temperature is too high, the PETG filament will melt and flow so quickly. Please turn down the temperature to a reasonable level.

The feed parameters are not correct, so adjust the feed length and speed.

5.Q: There is too much melted filament around the nozzle. What should I do?

A: This issue can be traced back to too high temperature, too low print speed, and nozzle diameter mismatch in slice software with extrusion performance.

6.Q: The PETG filament was perfect when I opened the package. After printing several times intermittently, my PETG filament accidentally breaks during printing. Why?

A: Normally, the PETG filament will not break by itself during the printing process. However, the degradable material PETG will become more brittle and easy to break after exposure to moisture, so you should pay attention to moisture protection.

7.Q: The surface of my print is not very smooth and the extruded filament has inconstant diameters. Why is that?

A: The printing temperature is too high or too low. The temperature does not match the print speed. You need to adjust the print speed or temperature.

8.Q: Why my PETG printed objects won't stick to the heatbed? How can I solve this?

A: The distance between the nozzle and the bed is too big. Make sure the heated bed is level and clean. Then judge whether the printing temperature and heatbed temperature are too low, and our customers should adjust them to the right range.

    Setting Specification

ERYONE 1.75mm transparent PETG Filament bundle 1kg helps you print without stringing and warping issues under optimal settings. Extrusion/Nozzle Temperature: 215°C-230°C (419°F - 446°F), Heating Plate /Bed/Platform Temperature: 80-100°C(140°F - 176°F), Speed: 40-80mm/s.

    Clog-free & Bubble-Free

Designed and Manufactured with Clog-Free patent to guarantee a smooth and stable printing experience. Complete drying for 24 hours before vacuum aluminum foil packaging, which can effectively protect the PETG filament from moisture.
As the PETG material is sensitive to moisture, please remember to put it back into the re-sealable aluminum foil bag timely after using to maintain excellent printing result.

Less- tangle and Easy to Use

Full mechanical winding and strict manual examination, which guarantee the PETG filaments tidy and easy to be fed; Larger spool inner diameter design makes feeding smoother.

    Dimensional Accuracy & Consistency

Advanced CCD diameter measuring and self-adaptive control system in the manufacturing guarantee these PETG filaments of 1.75 mm diameter, dimensional accuracy 99% Probability + / - 0.03 mm; 1 kg spool (2.2lbs).

    FAQs

Why is the PETG Carbon Fiber Filament stronger than regular PETG?

It contains 15% carbon fiber, which significantly enhances its strength and durability, providing higher rigidity and toughness.

What kind of 3D printing projects is this filament suitable for?

It’s suitable for automotive parts, aerospace components, consumer electronics, and medical devices due to its dimensional stability, chemical resistance, and strength.

How should I store the PETG Carbon Fiber Filament?

The filament comes vacuum - sealed. After use, reseal it to prevent dust and dampness, ensuring good performance for the next print.

Are there any special requirements for printing with this filament?

A hardened steel nozzle is recommended because of its abrasive nature. Also, dry it well before printing and test with a temperature tower. The recommended print temp is 200 - 240°C, and the heated bed temp is 70 - 90°C.
